Starting nursery can feel like a big step for both parents and children, but at Jigsaw Nursery, we are experienced in helping families transition smoothly into this exciting new chapter. Our dedicated teachers and teaching assistants work hard to make sure both parents and children feel comfortable, secure, and welcomed in their new environment.

In the first few days, we encourage parents to bring their children for shorter sessions. This gives little ones the chance to explore their new classroom and begin building a bond with their teacher. Since every child is unique, we tailor the settling-in period to suit each child’s individual needs.

Some children may adapt quickly, while others might feel a bit more anxious or upset. For those children, we offer shorter days at first, allowing them the time and space they need to adjust at their own pace. Above all, everything we do is centered around making sure each child’s well-being and comfort come first.
